Proposal on New Migration Limit of Aluminium in EU Toy Safety Directive
Considering the fact that children are exposed to aluminium from more than one source (toys), European Commission proposed a new migration limit of aluminium of the Toy Safety Directive. Compared to the existing one, the proposed migration limit is lower, as it is calculated with less amount of aluminium as the tolerable daily intake weight. The proposal is expected to be effective in 2020.
